I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology, prior to graduating from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2000 as a Naturopathic Doctor.

Being in practice for over 20 years, I have maintained a passionate enthusiasm for helping people of all ages with the one thing that we all share in common, “chronic stress”.   Through ongoing education (over 8 years post-graduate study to become a Naturopathic Doctor and continued education courses throughout every year); being an entrepreneur and making time to support and care for my family, I understand the demands and pressures that all of us experience in our lives.

It is my mission to help you understand how chronic stress may be influencing your specific symptoms and then to formulate an action plan to help you regain your health. This is achieved through various testing methods, so it is specific to your personal needs.

Stress comes from many sources and can impact your body in different ways:

· Biochemical – food allergies, food sensitivities, microbiome imbalances such as                parasites, bacteria, viruses, heavy metals, yeast & mold, nutritional deficiencies or            excesses

· Emotional – anxiety, fear, worry, anger, frustration

· Physical – muscular strain, sprains, trauma, injury, exercise, surgery

· Spiritual

Through my clinical experience and the use of various Naturopathic services, I have been able to assist people who are “stressed out”, feel energized and motivated again.

Understanding what causes someone's symptoms is the first step to knowing what we can do to help fix it!

One of the reasons I became a Naturopath was that it aligned with my beliefs, that in order to achieve true optimal wellness, all aspects of a person need to be addressed - biochemical, emotional, physical and spiritual.

In the beginning years of practice, it became evident to me that most of my patients were also in need of hands on body therapy in order to help address physical imbalances that seemed to be present in everyone.  â€‹Although part of the training I received at CCNM was Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture, structural manipulation and body work, I still felt compelled to search for something more to offer my patients.  This inspired me to become a certified Matrix Repatterning Practitioner (CMRP) in 2010 which I have also found to be very helpful with animals.  Another one of my many passions in life.
